Divas Doing Good is creating a DIVAlution in the Greater Toledo Area. Divas Doing Good is the brainchild of Tiffany Noel Taylor, a Mary Kay Independent Sales Director and Driven leader of the Dynamite DIVAs. Our organization began informally in 2010 among friends of Tiffany Noel Taylor, with plans to create a spa day for an area shelter. Small runway shows with local boutiques and salons led to more donations and collecting of toiletries in 2011.
This spring, we will hold a charity Fashion Event called “Decades of DIVA.” We assist area agencies in their support of local women and families. The proceeds from this event will go to support St. Paul’s Community Center, NAMI of Greater Toledo, and the Janet Phleger Foundation.
Decades of DIVA “grew out of a two year commitment to area shelters. We have been able to offer $10,000 in in-kind donations annually. The days spent with residents at shelters made it clear that there was a need to do more and provide more to area women and the agencies that offer support services to them,” commented Tiffany Noel Taylor, event director and founder of Divas Doing Good.”
Decades of DIVA will take place on Saturday May 19th at The EVENT CENTER 23 N. Summit St. IN Downtown Toledo, OH 43604. Doors will open at 6:30pm. There will be grazing, a cash bar, silent auction, and a vintage runway show starting at 8pm. The runway show will be followed by dancing and live performances by area entertainers.
Tickets are $25 and available at the door.
